A DORSET charity returned to a motorbike event in Poole Quay.

Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, returned to the Dream Machines event on Poole Quay organised by BCP Council as guest judges to choose the final “Bike of the Night” of 2022.

Regular spectators Graeme, Simon, Matt and Natalie, who are supported by the charity’s Supported Living service, had the opportunity to view the bikes on display along the quay front.

Together they chose a bike they felt worthy of Bike of the Night, which was Jude Wardell-Knights with his Harley Davidson Trike.

Jude is a regular visitor to the event and was pleased to be going home with Bike of the Night title.

Simon, one of this week’s guest judges, said: “I really loved the paintwork on the Harley Davidson Trike, and it was sparkly clean. It also struck a cord with us all as it was a trike and the owner has cerebral palsy too.”

Emma Wray, Supported Living team leader, said: “Graeme, Simon, Matt and Natalie love coming to bike night throughout the summer. It’s a great opportunity to meet up with friends, chat about the bikes and have a drink in the pub.”
