Community News: Polar Plunge continues to support AP/O Fire & Rescue (2/26/19)


The University of Okoboji’s annual Polar Plunge been a fundraiser for the Arnolds Park-Okoboji Fire & Rescue’s underwater dive team for many years. This year’s event, sponsored by Okoboji Harley Davidson raised $1,587 for the upkeep of emergency rescue equipment. Okoboji Harley Davidson general manager Justin Coyle, AP/O Fire Chief Chris Yungbluth, Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Director of Membership and Events Kiley Zankowski, technician Jake Cole, technician Taylor Goodell, parts manager Steve McGlaughlin, Cari Jack with the IGLA chamber, service manager Ian Link, sales department person Mollie Petersen and fellow sales department person Dillon Burns were present as the check was received.
