A United Way fundraiser is sold out, but virtual tickets are still available.
The United Way of Central Texas will host the 12th Annual Chrome & Carols Festival of Trees fundraiser on Thursday, Dec. 1. The event will kick-off at 6 p.m. at Horny Toad Harley-Davidson in Temple.
“We have sold out of in person tickets but virtual admission tickets are currently on sale. There were several raffle tree winners that purchased virtual tickets,” the agency said in a news release. “You do not need to be present to win, but you do need to purchase a ticket. Virtual admission allows you to participate in the raffle trees as well as the silent auction.”
KCEN-TV news anchors Kris Radcliffe and Lindsay Liepman will emcee the event.
Sixteen professionally decorated Christmas Trees will be raffled off Dec. 1, with over $1,000 worth of gifts beneath each tree. In addition, there will be a live and silent auction, which includes items such as a contractor for a day, Grand Harley Davidson tree, and much more. All winners will take prizes home that evening.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy music, a holiday meal catered by the TCP Catering and sound and lighting provided by Frontier Sounds.
In 2021 Chrome & Carols Festival of Trees raised over $50,000 for local community impact programs, United way said.
