The new Harley-Davidson is officially open at 386 E. 5th North Street. Phil Schoonover is the owner. The business moved from its former Trolley Road location, which is now closed. Harley-Davidson specializes in biker parts and accessories, merchandise, and motorcycle sales and services. They are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, and closed on Monday. The shop can be reached at 843-285-5164. While Harley-Davidson left Trolley Road, Sew Suite Studio made its new home at 81 Old Trolley Road. This is the second shop for owner Rebecca Robinson, who operates another Sew Suite out of Lexington. Sew Suite specializes in fabric, Baby lock machines and sells Koala cabinets and furniture. They will offer classes in sewing, quilting, machine embroidery and more; they have an upcoming two-day event on Aug. 4 and 5 for residents to learn about machine embroidery at the Masonic Hall on Main Street – it is a ticketed event, anyone who wants to go can contact the store for details. The Chamber recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of Charleston Orthodontic Specialists’ new office in Summerville.
The new office is located at 1101 North Main Street, Suite 305, in the Earth Fare shopping center. Charleston Orthodontic Specialists also has locations in Charleston and James Island.
