NAC Architecture has announced a number of new hires. Marketing Coordinator Andrew Juarez will work on proposal preparation, interview presentation materials and award submissions. He comes to NAC from helveticka. Sydney Miller has been hired as a human resource specialist and comes to Spokane from Boise. Ruina Du, an architectural designer, is currently working on a school district study in Selah, Wash., and elementary schools in East Wenatchee, Wash. Alyson Mahoe has been hired as research and experience development coordinator, charged with supporting projects using writing, organizing and training. Hannah Mackin, an interior designer, is working on a residence hall for the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo.
IpsaOptio Business Solutions has hired Fred Bowman as business consultant and customer service representative. In the position, Bowman will outline IpsaOptio’s offerings to local business owners. IpsaOptio offers accounting, payroll, website design, social media management, human resources and notary public services to businesses in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area.
Kris Workman has been named senior director of technical operations for Comcast’s Washington region. Workman, a Spokane native, has 20 years of experience and will be responsible for the direction and management of technical operations and maintenance in Spokane, overseeing more than 100 employees. He most recently led Comcast’s West Division shared service marketing and sales operations team in Denver.
Jonathan Anderson has been named the new dean of Eastern Washington University’s College of Social Sciences. Anderson began at Eastern in 2006 as an assistant professor and has served as chairman of the Department of Psychology, associate dean of the College of Social Sciences and, since April 2017, interim dean of the College of Social Sciences.
