Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue will hold a paint party fundraiser Sunday at 2 p.m. at its facility at 60 Vera Cruz Road near Reinholds.
Registration is $ 45 and includes supplies and instruction. The rescue will supply light snacks, otherwise BYOB.

The Eastern PA Toy Run will be held Sunday at 11 a.m., beginning at Classic Harley-Davidson in Bern Township and ending at FirstEnergy Stadium, a 25-mile route.
Proceeds will benefit the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots and The Children’s Home of Reading.
Participation is guaranteed by bringing a new, unwrapped toy of any value or a monetary donation to buy toys.
All motorcycles, Jeeps and classic cars are welcome to participate.
Motorcycle registration begins at 9 a.m. at Classic Harley-Davidson.
Santa Claus will lead the riders at 11, and the run should end about noon.

Churches in Berks County will be collecting shoeboxes filled with supplies for needy families beginning Nov. 13.
The effort is part of Operation Christmas Child. The boxes should be filled with school supplies, toys and hygiene items.
