RAPID CITY, S.D. -For at least eight years Black Hills Harley-Davidson has hosted a chili feed. It’s a thank you for all of its customers and motorcyclists.
Bowls of chili, chips, a drink, and alcoholic beverages were all available for free on Saturday. People lined up at 11:30 this morning to get a bowl and top it with cheese, sour cream, and cornbread.
The off-season is on its way in, but Black Hills Harley takes pride in camaraderie year-round. Hosting several events where bikers can get together and have a good time.
“They’re building a custom motorcycle or dreaming of the next build. If we can get them together, enjoy lunch, have a beer and talk about their plans everybody just gets cohesive and they make friends and plan rides,” said marketing manager, Mike Maloney.
Black Hills Harley made seven pots of chili and fed over 500 people.
