RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA TV) – Thousands of people filled the Black Hills Harley Davidson in Rapid City for their annual pre-rally roll out less than a week away from the start of rally.
Right now their location probably has the largest selection of Harley’s in the nation after bringing in extra inventory for their busiest time of the year.
They have 100 vendors with motorcycle related products and services on the lot.
They also had a ride in bike show on the lot for motorcycle lovers to enjoy.
But the purpose of the pre rally is to benefit the locals.
Black Hills Harley Davidson president, Al Reiman, says “The pre-rally roll out started because the rally was very short. In a week’s period of time a lot of people came and when we would bring out our merchandise that we had been accumulating for those people a lot of our local and regional people, it was sold out before they could get here. So we started with a pre rally roll out so the locals primarily have the opportunity to come and see the inventory, the products, and the discounted merchandise when it’s at its largest and fullest.”
Reiman anticipates this year’s rally to be bigger than last years.
The first official day of the rally begins this Friday.
