RAPID CITY, S.D. –
A local motorcycle dealer spent a day celebrating their customers.
Black Hills Harley-Davidson jump-started the riding season with their Spring Ride Kick-Off Party at their Deadwood Avenue location on Saturday.
The event lined up with BHHD’s Customer Appreciation Day. Bikers enjoyed free food and beverages as they perused hundreds of motorcycle displays. Events throughout the day included giveaways and gift card raffles, with prizes reaching up to $1,000. The dealership also offered discounts on discontinued and used motorcycle purchases.
As summer approaches, motorcyclists are eager to hit the road. BHHD Social Media Marketer Mike Maloney said that the “thank you” celebration helped warm-up chopper enthusiasts to the start of the season.
“The last couple of months were pretty cold, as everybody knows, so [on] the first 70-80 degree days, we’re all itching to ride,” Maloney said. “We all want to get out there. It’s time to ride, and that’s what this party’s about – get everybody ready and see everybody on the road.”
Later in the evening, organizers provided a free dinner and musical entertainment by musician Dr. Ridley to patrons.
