Lake County Fight Against Heroin is hosting a Bike Run fundraising event to help combat drug addiction in local communities.
The event will start 11 a.m. July 15 at Western Reserve Harley Davidson, 8567 Tyler Blvd. in Mentor, with participants riding to Grand River Manor and back for a post-run event. All proceeds will go to Hope Over Heroin, according to a news release.
Tickets for the event are on sale now at Western Reserve Harley Davidson and Clear Choice Lasik centers. The release states that the purchase of a ticket includes a post-run dinner, T-shirts (limited quantities) and an entry into a grand prize drawing for a free Lasik eye surgery procedure from Clear Choice Custom Lasik.
According to event organizer Jennifer Rudman, Tyrone Hornbuckle from Tyrone Blues Sinsation will be playing music at the event. There will also be a 50/50 raffles for a chance to win a wedding package, a golf package, Cleveland Indians and Browns tickets, and a full-day fishing charter with Roy’s Away Service, Lake Erie Charter Fishing Services out of Fairport Harbor, according to Rudman.
