A Volvo station wagon driven by David Nickles, 53, of Askov, was exiting southbound I-35 in Finlayson Township at 10:45 p.m. and turning to travel east on Highway 23, when it was struck by Steven Mark Christensen’s westbound Harley Davidson. Christensen, 58, of Askov, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minn. where is condition was not available Sunday morning. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the state patrol. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
