Alabama man killed on Harley in intersection crash

Pensacola driver in pickup pulled in front of motorcycle causing fatal accident.

Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that a motorcyclist from Alabama was killed following an intersection crash Friday night.

In a press release, FHP noted that a 1998 Toyota 4Runner driven by Christopher Sullivan of Pensacola pulled into an intersection at State Road 295 and Martha Avenue in Escambia County at the time of the 7:23 p.m. fatal accident.

As the Toyota moved through the intersection from Martha Avenue, the pickup had pulled in front of a Harley-Davidson FLHRC driven by 61-year-old Anthony Censo of Elberta, Alabama. The motorcycle was traveling north on S.R. 295.

The motorcycle crashed into the right front side of the pickup. Censo, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola where he died from injuries suffered in the crash.

FHP noted that charges are pending. Alcohol was not related to the crash.
