If you get into a car crash, do you know what to do?

An accident involving motorcycles and a car closed lanes of Pacific Coast Highway near the iconic Neptune’s Net restaurant late Saturday afternoon.

The incident was reported around 3:55 p.m. on the coastal route near Tonga Street, according to California Highway Patrol and Ventura County Fire Department reports. The street is south of where the restaurant sits at the corner of PCH and Yerba Buena Road in Ventura County.

Two motorcycles and a vehicle were involved, according to the CHP, with three or four patients, including one person with major injuries who was transported to Ventura County Medical Center. At least one of the motorcycles was a Harley-Davidson, reports indicated. The car was described as four-door BMW.

A Ventura County Sheriff’s helicopter responded along with vehicles from multiple fire agencies. The helicopter transported one patient to the hospital, radio traffic indicated.

As of 4:35 p.m., the route was closed and traffic was backed up in both directions, according to the CHP’s log. Various agencies were helping with traffic control and the route was set to reopen around 5 p.m., reports indicated.
