Summer may be ending, but there’s still plenty of activities to keep you busy.

The Fresh Coast Jazz Festival takes place Friday, August 30 through Sunday, September 1 at various times at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts (929 N Water St.). In addition to live performances from various jazz genre artists, there will be other events including a Fresh Coast Cruise.
You don’t have to be an art-snob to enjoy this art festival. The 8th Annual Third Ward Art Festival returns on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1 from 10a.m. to 5p.m. from St. Paul to Menomonee Street. The free event showcases over 140 artists and features live music, food, children’s activities and more.
Get out your bike and motorcycle gear for this roaring event. The Milwaukee Rally celebrates all things motorcycles from Thursday, August 29 through Monday, September 2 at various locations throughout Milwaukee. Some things to look forward to include live music, great food, custom bike shows, 2020 Harley-Davidson® Demo models and group rides.
Get ready to grab a pair of headphones to jam out all night long. The Millennium Age Host: Silent Party takes place Saturday, August 31 beginning at 10p.m. at Site 1A (231 E Buffalo St. #1a). Tickets are available online to listen to listen via headphones to the best music from the 90’s, & 2000’s.
Love good BBQ? Time to chow down. Big Pig BBQ Fest features BBQ and more on Sunday, September 1 beginning at noon at the Summerfest Grounds (200 N Harbor Dr.). The festival features over 12 Wisconsin BBQ Restaurants that will compete to take home the best BBQ prize. It also includes live music, bourbon, beer, entertainment and more.
Let your true inner artist self come out with a night of sipping and painting. The Black Girl Magic Paint and Sip session takes place Saturday, August 31 at 6p.m. at Vibez Creative Arts Space (3536 W Fond Du Lac Ave.). This session focuses on the Wrapped Queen, and tickets are available online.
Jam out to some classic rock. Mark Knopfler, of Dire Straits fame, will perform with an expanded ten-piece band on Saturday, August 31 at the Riverside Theater (116 W Wisconsin Ave.). Knopfler says that his songs are best live, so fans should have something to look forward to.
