42-Year-Old Athol Man Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crash on US95 | Idaho

ATHOL – On Tuesday, June 30 at approximately 7:03 pm, the Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash on Williams Lane off of US95, just north of Athol in Bonner County.

According to a press release, 42-year-old Ryan Johnson, of Athol, ID, was driving on Williams Lane from southbound US95 in a black Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was driving alongside a gray Mini Cooper, and both were traveling at a high rate of speed when Johnson failed to negotiate a curve and was thrown into the tree line off of the roadway.

Johnson was transported to Kootenai Health and was later relayed to Sacred Heart. Alcohol is believed to be a factor. This investigation is currently ongoing.
