The first day of 'Live to Ride' has begun at the Harley Davidson on West 12th Street.

The competition, put on by Harley Davidson and Happi 92.7, consists of four riders who are competing to win a 2017 Harley Davidson street rod.  The idea is they just have to 'ride' the longest and the person left 'riding' wins the bike.  The competitors got on their 'rides' (chairs) around one o'clock this afternoon.

Shari McBride, Happi 92.7 On-Air Personality, says, "I love it.  You know Erie people love being outside; once the weather breaks we're never indoors and this is something they can enjoy, connect with, almost like reality television in their own backyard on tv, radio, and it's something they can keep up with."

Last year, the competition went on for twenty days.
