2018 Harley-Davidson CVO Specs

The CVO Road Glide sports a 21″ front hoop

This week brought a lot of news to sift through from The Motor Company, so let’s take a moment to merely lay out some of the ol’ statistics for you to take a gander at. We care about you, the readers, so we decided to consolidate the specs for the 2018 CVO models right here in one place. We’ll be doing complete buyers’ guides for the 2018 Indian and Harley offering in the coming issues of AIM, so keep your eyes peeled for those.

There are two ways you can read more about Harley-Davidson’s 2018 CVO lineup: pop over to the brief write-up we have here or for a more detailed rendering of the CVO Road Glide, CVO Street Glide, and CVO Limited models, you can purchase issue #354 digitally right now (a week early! On newsstands 9/12). We’ll also have a full first-ride review of a CVO bagger in an upcoming issue.

We know the prices of CVOs are gaudy, but these three seriously upgraded Touring models derived that standard through the work that the Custom Vehicles Operations team has put into them over the last year-plus. It’s the same difference as buying the standard Chevy Colorado or the Silverado 3500HD. These vehicles come at a premium.

Some quick notes: These models are equipped with the largest production motor Harley-Davidson has put out in its history, the Milwaukee-Eight 117 (production motor meaning mass production available as stock for the consumers—we’ve seen some notes about the Screamin’ Eagle 120ST bolt-in kit that was introduced in 2015. The Milwaukee-Eight 117 comes having already been installed at the factory.) The CVO Road Glide is the only one of the three to be equipped with a 21″ front wheel. The CVO Limited is the only one of the three available with the 115th Anniversary paint.

With that said, let’s take a look at the specs for each of three available CVOs for the 2018 model year.
