2015 Harley Davidson Street 750 Motorcycle Review

This guy really surprised me in all regards. I was expecting something very similar to a Sportster but instead found something very Japanese or European. Silky smooth, you would be forgiven to believe it was a parallel engine. The transmission was like butter, the ride plush, the feel nimble and light as a feather. Harley Davidson is going after a 100% different client base with this series, even more so than in the Buell experiment days.

Say if I want this to be my first motorcycle, but I want it to be decently loud, is there a way to change that?

Whats funny is you comment on how if I was into an FZ09 I might be in to that, I'm into scramblers, fz's, Bonneville, and even 883s… I think the street 750 is one of the ugliest machines out there.

    My opinion though.

You complain about the exhaust cooking your leg, your right leg shouldnt be leaving that break pedal stopped. someone rear ends you, you'll know the difference.

Finally saw one of these things in person. Looks and feels cheap. Probably a good option for emerging markets around the world, but you'd be crazy to get one of these over a lightly used Sportster.

Nice review man! Question for you, if you had to choose between the 1200 custom and this bike, which would be better? I know the engine size difference, but comfort-ability and all around driving, which would be the better choice?

It's funny.. the 2 things I've noticed from all the reviews.. A) The transmission has no feel
    B) Beginning of the ride.. 'Why, Harley, why?' End of ride 'I love this bike.'

I would buy it, but only because it is American made… Honestly though, the Kawasaki Vulcan S takes the cake!

How can the engine be "european"? We make more twins than you does and they sure feels like twins. Ducati, Aprilia, KTM, BMW…….

So, I need to know: Did you feel any appreciable power at all, on this 750?
    I imagine no, you didn't.

Otherwise, it sounds like a nice bike for the beginner, but otherwise, it falls flat on its face.

Does Harley make hop up parts for this bike?
