2014 Custom Harley Dyna Street Bob Walk Around

2014 Custom Harley Dyna Street Bob Walk Around

After building a handful of baggers here at J&P Cycles, it was nice get the Dyna in the shop.

Owning a Dyna myself, it would have been easy to favor my personal style and build a bit of a “club style” bike. But I purposely took a step back and tried to be as objective as I could while keeping the stripped down minimalist style of the Street Bob in mind, and I wasn’t trying to turn it into something it wasn’t.

That plan worked out well as you can see, and it also resulted in what I would consider a lightly modified bike. With the help of Vance and Hines, Arlen Ness, Roland Sands Design, Legend Air Suspension and a few other vendors, the bike turned out perfectly. Sometimes you just need to know when to say when…

Take a second to check out the walk around video as we highlight the work that was done. If you are interested in what we used I listed out the parts and the times they appear in the video below.

  1. How difficult is it to install the Arlen Ness rear turn signals? Will I still be able to leave my stock license plate bracket next to the turn signal?

  2. 1) The RSD wheels come basically ready to slap the periphery rotors and what not on, and slap them on the bike, correct?

    2) With those RSD wheels, what are the tire dimensions you have to go with? or is it all working around stock sizes?

    Thanks in advance.

  3. Looks good. The legend air suspension looks the part and would give better clearance for corners as well. Great vid.

  4. I would like to put those Arlen Ness turn signals on my 2014 FXD Street Bob but I have a question….The original lights are running lights, stop lights and turn signals in one, are these Ness ones a direct replacement and have the same function?
