TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) — The Boys and Girls Club of Topeka held the 19th annual Harley Party Saturday.
Guests who purchased tickets enjoyed food and drinks and took part in a silent auction.
At the end of the night a Harley Davidson motorcycle was given away as a prize.
Organizers said the 19th Harley Party is the biggest one yet.
According to the Boys and Girls Club Director of Development and Marketing Krystal Wiltz, it is their biggest fundraiser of the year.
“In January we’re expanding to 15 club locations serving over 3,500, maybe 4000 kids every year,” Wiltz said. “When you think about where we were three years ago, we only had three club locations serving 700 kids. This is more important than it’s ever been to raise money for our clubs around the city of Topeka.”
13’s Melissa Brunner was the emcee at Saturday’s event. Live entertainment was performed by Departure.
