1997 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic 1340 V-Twin Tons of Chrome

I thought you’d like a look at this very nice 1997 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. It’s really looking slick with the chrome laced wheels, whitewalls, and full fenders. It also has a nice, comfortable leather saddle and wide handlebars. It’s powered by the the reliable and torquey 1340 V-twin, with a Screamin’ Eagle Carb. This bike has been extremely well maintained and looks like new. Thanks for checking it out!

Filmed at Fast Lane Classic Cars in St. Charles, MO

Tempo: 90

With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from Memphis’ Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to electric piano. 011

I am so glad to hear it……you have indeed found the right bike for you….that is all that counts. Ride it with pride, congratulations, on being an above average rider, since, statistically, the average H-D owner only rides, an average of 1,150 miles a year, according to HARLEY's own commissioned study. Cause for every owner who rides, 10,000 miles a year, there are 8 NEW owners, who only ride 600 miles a year. A typical TWINKIE owner with a 2012 year bike would have only ridden it………3,450 miles in those 3 years, so you are way above the average………congratulations on being 4 times the average rider of a TC! Outstandingly, unbelievable!

Great Classic Harley, the real deal, best engine HARLEY EVER MADE, PERIOD.The junk TWIN CAMS, produced from 1998 to the present, are just that. Pressed together flywheel and PLASTIC tensioners on two silent chain drives. This EVO has solid METAL GEAR DRIVE for both the oil pump and the camshaft, no PLASTIC in this machine.Keep it man, cause it the best, most reliable, re-buildable, serviceable HARELY, still today.
