    In 1957 was the last hardtall frame but there was no bow in the legs. The frame was called a straight leg and was only in the 1957 model. This particular frame was raked and the legs were bowed back which is one way to accomplish the rake.

    That's a pre 57 frame, Harley went to swinging arm frames in 57!

    Excellent vid. Well done! I like 91% of the scooter as is. But man, that seat hurts just to look at.
    At the end it sounded like that motor was hitting on one cylinder. Was that the case or just a recording anomaly?

    I'm an old man, got no ass, just a callous to sit on. I don't think it hurts the looks of a chopper to put some  springs under the seat or some padding on it. Hell, I like a king queen seat myself.
