1956 Harley davidson flathead

1956 Harley davidson flathead

Here’s a really cool chopper built in 1972 in Pasadena Southern California. It was parked in storage since 1987 I brought it home cleaned the gas and oil tanks out which are some really cool original tank shift narrow Wr style tanks. The old 6 volt battery was dead so I put a nice original Harley magneto on it, cleaned the carb and added new gas and oil and fired right up for the first time in 30 years and sounds very healthy!! The previous owner said it has Wr profile cams inside.  Carb is a m51L 80″ flathead linkert motor has nice aluminum heads. It sounds beastly. If you want to see video of it running contact me. Nice wide glide front end with early trees and 21″ star hub wheel with original left side brake. Bates headlight. Rear wheel is off k model and uses all the stock flathead linkages. Good braking power front and rear.   The whole drivtrain is all original parts down to the squiggly gas line to the linkert gas strainer. Stock brake controls and Wr racer clutch pedal with bates side pegs. Nice original primary’s and battery box setup. The frame is molded to a really cool peak on rails. Nice round fender tombstone taillight and sissy bar cobra seat combo. I did not replace the battery because I installed the magneto. I have the distributor that came off this bike if your interested I will sell Seperately. If I am missing anything feel free to ask 970-389-8010 Bike comes with California pink slip!
