17 of the most hearting warming pictures from Waltham Abbey Harley Davidson ride for cancer mum

A terminally ill mum fulfilled a bucket list dream of a pillion ride on a Harley Davidson this weekend – and it was all made possible by kind hearted strangers.

Vicki Stevens, 42, from Waltham Abbey was diagnosed with triple breast cancer in October 2014 and while initially given the all clear, two years on she was diagnosed with secondary cancer which had spread to her brain, lung and spine.

After being left unsure how long she may have left to live, Vicki created a bucket list of things she would like to experience with her family and friends – which included a passenger ride on a Harley Davidson.

Around 300 bikers, including Mike Grove, from Harlow, and Paul Middleton, from Bishop’s Stortford, made their way to Vicki’s house in Winters Way.

They then headed to Lakeside via the M25, which police closed for them, where they were joined by another 200 bikers.

Below we’ve chosen 17 of the most heart warming pictures from the day.
