10 Photos: Harley-Davidson Adventure Tourer, Streetfighter prototypes revealed

Good news for Harley-Davidson fans in the Cavite are: Wheeltek, one of the country’s largest multi-brand motorcycle dealership companies, has bagged a dealership contract with Harley-Davidson and is slated to open its showroom located on Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Imus, Cavite, on September 18, 2019With the opening of this facility, Harley-Davidson will now have five showrooms in the country, the other four being located in EDSA-San Juan, Bonifacio Global City, Cebu, and Davao.

Before Harley-Davidson of Cavite opens its doors to motorcycle enthusiasts next month, Wheeltek officials recently traveled to Milwaukee in Winconsin, USA, to attend the annual dealers’ meet.

Odulio’s group was probably the first from the Philippines to see the Harley-Davidson Adventure Touring and Streetfighter prototype models in the metal. The birth of these two bikes signals the brand’s expansion to other model categories from its traditional cruiser styling.

Reports say the Adventure Tourer will have a 1,250cc engine, while the Streetfighter will be powered by a 975cc liquid-cooled mill. And instead of giving attendees the bikes’ specs, Harley-Davidson displayed original performance parts and accessories to showcase the customization options for the two upcoming models. Clever!

It won’t be long before these two models hit the assembly line to take a piece of the adventure-tourer and standard/naked segments currently dominated by other premium brands like KTM, Ducati, BMW, and Triumph. So, here are more images of Harley-Davidson’s upcoming offerings (Adventure Touring in orange/white, Streetfighter in red). Enjoy!
