1 dead after thrown from Harley in crash with two cars

A Harley rider is dead after he was thrown from his bike in a Saturday night collision with two cars in northern Harris County.

Frank Guillen was on his white Harley-Davidson headed southbound along the 25300 block of Gosling just after 6 p.m. when he veered out of the lane and lost control at a curve, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The motorcycle fell on its side and slid into oncoming traffic, where it hit a blue Scion XB.

Guillen, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the bike and died.

The Scion driver lost control and spun into the southbound lane, hitting the back end of a gray Mercedes. It’s not clear if the Scion or Mercedes drivers were injured in the chain reaction.

The crash is still under investigation by the Vehicular Crimes Division.
