Two of the bikes hit the car, with a third being run off the road.

A motorcyclist has been killed and two people are in a critical condition after a crash involving three motorcycles and a sedan in east-central Minnesota Saturday.

The crash happened around 8:30 a.m., with the Minnesota State Patrol reporting that a Toyota Camry traveling north on Mahogany Street in Kanabec County “failed to yield” as they entered the intersection of Hwy. 70.

Two Harley Davidsons heading westbound on Hwy. 70 crashed into the sedan, while a Victory motorcycle was ran off the road as they avoided collision.

The driver of one of the Harleys, a 42-year-old man from Java, South Dakota, was killed in the crash.

They were both airlifted to Twin Cities hospitals, per the Kanabec County Sheriff.

The sedan had five people in it, including a 2-year-old child. Two people inside the car suffered minor injuries, with the driver a 30-year-old man from St. Paul.

The Victory driver, 21-year-old Ryan Ristow from Coon Rapids, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
