So when I took the float bowel off, no gas poured out. Am I to assume there is a fuel line issue? Bike had been stored for winter if that means anything

Thanks Rocco! The 2000 FXDX Dyna Super Glide Sport basically has the same carb system. I just cleaned all of the crap out of my main and idle jets and she's running like it did 10 years ago. You're the man!

rocco i took my tank off last fall to do some work on my bike while i had it off i thought it be a great idea to empty the gas out of my take so i had the tank off and was draining it out of the petcaulk and deside that this is taking too long so i turned the tank upside down to remove the gas from the filling hole i did not get all the gas out and thought this is a bad idea and when i turned it back around no gas would come out of the gascaulk so i out it away for the winter i put a gallon of gas in it this week and im still not getting fuel to come out my tank

Great video. Simple and straight forward.. I. went through the process on a 04 sportster. it fires up and idles great, even drives better than ever, but when I give it extra throttle, the engine floods and won't run. Did I mess up a jet, or could it be something else?

What's the correct name of the air filter box that has the two 9/16 bolts that need a deep well socket to remove? One of the two bolts are stripped & I can't get it to budge. Thanks
