Harley-Davidson stolen from High Ridge home while victim's in the hospital

A Harley-Davidson motorcycle worth an estimated $14,000 recently was stolen from a carport in the 5300 block of Brinridge Drive in High Ridge. The bike was stolen between March 9 and March 16, while the victim was hospitalized, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The stolen bike is a 2012 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide. It has navy blue with silver metal flake paint, with skull decals on the tank, the report said.

After a week-long stay at an area hospital, the victim returned on March 16 to the home where he had left the bike parked and found the bike missing. He asked the homeowners where the bike was, and they said they didn’t know, according to the report.

As of March 23, the bike had not been recovered, and there were no arrests in the case, Cpl. Matthew Moore said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
