Well made boots that look great. I always wear lugs and this boots look almost like them so I had to buy them instead of the regular motorcycle boots. They are just a little bigger than normal size boots, maybe half to almost one size bigger, didn’t bother me too much so I just kept them. Also, I saved a good amount of money by buying them through Amazon, I was at the Harley store last week and found the exact same boots about 40% more expensive.

Nice boot but dangerious flaw for metal pegs, December 17, 2016

A really great boot in fit and style although there is a serious flaw to consider. These boots fit wonderful and look great but the sole is a major problem with “metal pegs”. This boot utilizes a “flat, ribbed sole” that grips most walking surfaces well and works as such with “sideboards” and “rubber” pegs but forget about wearing them where metal or aluminum pegs are concerned. They are scary slick and uncontrollably slip off these type of pegs making for a serious situation. During my first use I found that within a very short ride time, 10-15 minutes my legs were becoming fatigued trying to keep my feet on the pegs alone (I am very fit) . While these are not cheep in comparison by any means, I decided to keep them and alter the sole in the way of “shaping” the sole to resemble that of most of my riding boots. I used a 4″ grinder with a “paddle disk” to remove material in the “arch” of the sole and that has made them a ride-able boot. The photos are that of the altered sole.

I’ve actually bought two pairs of these for my boyfriend. Black and tan. They are really well made. He says they are comfortable and loves them. He wears them for going out and for work.I am a big fan of the contrast stitching. It really adds a nice touch. I highly recommend these boots. I will probably buy the dark brown ones next!
