Gone in 120 seconds – Harleys vanish in Geelong ram-raid

Geelong Harley Davidson R McDonaldTwo expensive Harley Davidson motorcycles have been stolen in an early-morning ram-raid in Newtown.

A utility was used to smash through the front windows of Geelong Harley Davidson in La Trobe Boulevard, just off La Trobe Terrace, just after 2.30am.

The thieves were in and out within minutes, escaping with two brand new Harley Davidson motorcyles worth a combined $ 65,000.

Harley Davidson Breakout REDThe stolen bikes are a red Breakout valued at around $ 30,000, and a black Road King Special which retails for approximately $ 35,000.

The Road King is particularly distinctive as it is a new release and only arrived in showrooms a few days ago.

Road King BLACKGeelong Harley owner Colin Jones says the entire incident was captured on CCTV.

The video shows the thieves stopping by for what looks to have been a scouting operation at around 1.30am, before returning an hour later to carry out the theft.
