Fox Factory Holding recalls Harley-Davidson shocks

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA – Fox Factory Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:FOXF) has issued a recall for its Harley-Davidson aftermarket motorcycle shock absorbers purchased after September 2014, citing a potential failure hazard.

About 2,460 shock absorber products are affected, Fox said.

“Consumers should immediately stop using Harley-Davidson model Fox shock absorbers, purchased after September 2014, and await further instruction,” the company said. Fox also has issued a stop sale order for retailers and distributors.

Questions should be directed to Fox Customer Service at 800-369-7469. Additional information will be posted online at www.ridefox.com as it becomes available, the company stated.

“Fox believes that this voluntary recall will not have any material adverse effect on its financial results or current financial guidance,” the company added.
