Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson sold to Redstone HD owner

HICKORY, NC – Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson in Hickory has been sold to Josh Russom, owner of Redstone Harley-Davidson in Huntsville, AL. The transaction was facilitated by Performance Brokerage Services.

The dealership’s name will remain.

The Redstone (formerly Rocket Harley-Davidson) and Blue Ridge dealerships are actually owned by Russom and business partner Andrew Campbell, who previously was Harley-Davidson’s district manager for Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, according to George Chaconas at Performance Brokerage Services.

Blue Ridge H-D was owned by Scott Fisher Enterprises. Fischer is focusing his efforts on his dealerships in California, Florida and New Mexico, according to the brokerage.

Russom worked with Chaconas to acquire Rocket Harley-Davidson (now Redstone H-D) in 2016 from Scott Fischer. “George and… Russom reconnected in February of 2017, discussed the [Blue Ridge] dealership, and a Letter of Intent was signed within a month and the dealership transaction was closed two months later,” the brokerage said.

Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson was named a Dealernews Top 100 Dealer in 2006 and 2007.
