Big Moose Harley-Davidson to migrate inland by 2018

PORTLAND, ME – Big Moose Harley-Davidson, which has been in business in Portland for more than 20 years, is going to move 20 minutes inland.

Owner Steve Reynolds told local media that the relocation, 12 miles west/southwest to Buxton, would benefit the dealership’s customers, many of whom live outside the Portland metro area.

Reynolds plans to situate the dealership to a four-acre site near the intersection of Route 202 and Route 22, in a business/commercial district. The expanded acreage will enable Big Moose to provide rider training. The project still requires approval from Buxton city officials.

Big Moose Harley-Davidson has been named a Dealernews Top 100 Dealer four times. Reynolds is the son of Calvin Reynolds, owner of Reynolds Motorsports, a six-time-winning Top 100 Dealer in Gorham.
