see what it takes to but a mock-up bike together in 2-1/2 days to go drag racing.
the bike has not run in at least 8 years and it was a chopper back then.
tatro machine rebuilt the topend on the stock 74ci motor and installed a Sifton 412 camshaft at the same time. the original owner put about 300 miles on it before it was involved in a mild crash. i purchased the pieces and it has been sitting until now.
i had 3 days until the 2015 antique nationals and needed something to drag race so this was the victim.
i lost the race by about a foot in the second round but that might have been because i only had 7 minuets sleep in 2 days.
no, it was because i wanted to run the bike as hard as it would go and not pussy out a stupid bracket race win. no speed, no fun.
at least it does good burnouts.

Great camera work, maybe you could try using a tripod next time and what happened the the scoreboard shots?

What the? Was that Whizzer nitro methane supercharged? It sure looks to me that it launched perty darn quick! Like even before Tatro staged, for pete's sake! Or, just maybe its rider ALSO stayed up all night and was hallucinating premature green lights, or something!
